Aza Njeri is a griot, author, filmmaker, educator, and a second-generation Hip hop recording artist who uses Hip Hop as a tool to inspire and enlighten the masses. “True Hip hop is the cure”. She believes truth can’t be censored and you must “use any means necessary” to share it. The pen is her sword and she’s devoted to dispelling false doctrines while spreading truth and light. Aza believes we all have a story but lack the courage to share, hence she created the Hip Hop saved my life “Hip hop saved my life” workbook. This is Njeri’s first book which is complimentary to “All I need is one mic” (Hip Hop saved my life). Aza memoir will be available September 2017.
